Host your own $300 Gauranteed Tournament at the bar of your choice!Second Place$300.00Third Place$200.00Fourth Place$100.00Fifth Place$100.00"Team Concept" the idea behind being able to host your own $300- gauranteed tournament is to represent your region by bringing home a big cash payout to your area's favorite location. This is meant to make the tournament a little more exciting for all the players. This does not mean it is acceptable to work as a team during your play. Slow play, chip dumping, talking while players are still in the hand are all forbidden practices in poker and will result in penalties and or disqualification!
What is a "shoot-out"? A shoot-out is a slightly different tournament format from a regular multi-table tournament players are used to on a nightly basis. The tournament starts off with 5 tables and 5,000 in chips, the top 2 players will advance to the final table and receive a new stack of 10,000 chips and a new blind structure.
poker tip: We would recommend a 'tight-agressive' strategy for this type of tournament, you want to keep a fairly decent sized stack to keep players from going after you. Avoiding confrontation and 'coin-flips' is important because you want to advance to the next round with as little gambling as possible.
When and where? Tournament dates are always held prior to a scheduled charity tournament to use the casino-sized tables, charity chips, and hold it at a neutral location. We schedule all tournaments 1 month in advance and post the detailsl on the home page under tour news to make sure players have enough time to plan accordingly. We cannot allow players to play in following month tournament if they cannot make their scheduled tournament due to the format of the tournament.
