Norton —Charles O’Connell, 39, of Norton was killed when his truck struck a tree at 148 Oak St. Thursday night, according to police.Norton police and fire departments were dispatched to the area for a report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:37 p.m.
Upon arrival, police and fire found a a 2002 Dodge pickup truck, had struck a tree.
O’Connell, an Acorn Road resident, was the only person in the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
I wanted to thank all the Southern Mass players that made it and did well in the tournament of champions. We had great representation and throughout the long grueling 2 day tournament we had some fun along the way. I am very proud of you all and lets make sure we take Junes down this time.
